Don't know a thing about them other than they're very noisy and sh*t all over the place, but I think they're lovely to have around a big lawn alright

If you want peacocks to free roam around your garden, its best to buy them as young peas and buy Indian blues not java greens.
The javas cannot free roam like the blues.
A trio is best non releated one peacock and two peahens.
They are only noisey around the breeding season . Peahens mature around 2yrs of age.
The pen you keep them in should be as big as possible, and the longer you keep them in before releasing them the better chance of them staying around as they will be used to the feeding area.
But its best to pen them in at breeding time so a fox cant get the hen if she was sitting on eggs out in the open.
    No dogs chasing them around.
You would also want to live in the countryside its best, built up city areas neighbours might complain.

    Anymore info needed just ask

Turkey growers pellets daily. And 3times a week a variety of Wheat, maize, corn, dried cat food, wild bird nuts, pears, apples, Greens, Bread, not all at once. They will eat insects ,and all while searching in grass.

are they easy to tame ? (Hand feed, pet them)

Petting them no. Hand feed them not really. They will come close. But it takes work and time. So its best to start with young peachicks. Done daily in the pen throwing treats to them while sitting there a few feet away. No big sudden movements. They will gradually come closer as you throw food near yourself. Much harder to do with an adult bird that was raised by someone else.
They are very curious birds. My ducks free range during the day, and are always over at the peacock pen at the wire looking in, while he is right up at them looking out, face to face wondering who are ye.
He does his dance daily. And also does it should our dog approach the pen.
It takes 5yrs again they get the train tail.
Do a search on youtube for peacock noise or calling.
